Indiramma Houses for All Poor: Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy
Telangana’s Minister for Revenue and Housing, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, has reiterated the Congress government’s commitment to providing Indiramma houses for all economically disadvantaged individuals in the state.

Hyderabad: Telangana’s Minister for Revenue and Housing, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, has reiterated the Congress government’s commitment to providing Indiramma houses for all economically disadvantaged individuals in the state. The announcement was made on Sunday at the Minister’s Quarters in Hyderabad, where the Minister unveiled the 2025 diary and calendar for Telangana State Housing Corporation employees.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Srinivas Reddy assured that the Congress government is fulfilling its election promise to provide housing to the poor. He announced that the construction and allocation of Indiramma houses would be carried out in phases over the next four years, ensuring all eligible individuals benefit from the initiative.
“The State government is committed to meeting the expectations of the people,” the Minister said, urging Housing Corporation employees to align their efforts with the government’s initiatives for the betterment of society.
The Minister criticized the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, accusing it of neglecting the housing sector. He alleged that the BRS government had significantly weakened the housing department, leading to its dissolution and the reallocation of staff to other agencies. In contrast, the Congress government has begun revitalizing the department by establishing robust mechanisms for selecting beneficiaries, monitoring construction, and managing housing projects.
As part of the initiative, the Housing Corporation has reappointed 326 employees to strengthen the department. The Minister emphasized that the government is dedicated to improving the lives of workers and creating a harmonious working environment within the Congress-led framework.
The event was attended by Telangana State Housing Corporation Employees’ Association leaders, including President Gavva Ravinder Reddy and General Secretary Boggula Venkata Ramireddy, along with other officials.
The Congress government’s renewed focus on housing is seen as a significant step towards addressing the housing needs of the state’s impoverished population and restoring trust in the housing sector.
