Hydraa Cracks Down on Illegal Constructions in Kohid Village

Hydraa officials conducted a demolition drive in Kohid village, Abdullapurmet Mandal, on Sunday.

Rangareddy District, February 9: In a decisive move against unauthorized encroachments, Hydraa officials conducted a demolition drive in Kohid village, Abdullapurmet Mandal, on Sunday. The operation targeted illegal structures obstructing roads and violating property regulations, following multiple complaints from local residents.

Encroachments Blocking Internal Roads

The demolition primarily focused on Survey Numbers 951 and 952, where members of the Radhe Dham Layout Plot Owners Welfare Association had raised grievances. According to the complainants, Samireddy Ball Reddy had unlawfully occupied their plots and blocked internal roads by constructing unauthorized boundary walls. Responding to these concerns, Hydraa swiftly intervened to clear the encroachments.

Verification of Land Records

A thorough review of land records revealed that the plots in Survey Numbers 951 and 952 were legally laid out in 1986 by original landowners K. Ramulu, Peddayya, and Esayya under the village panchayat’s jurisdiction. However, complaints surfaced alleging that Samireddy Ball Reddy had later encroached upon the land, constructed a farmhouse, and claimed ownership over multiple plots while restricting access to internal roads.

Unauthorized Construction and Permit Violations

Following due process, Hydraa officials issued notices to all involved parties, requesting the submission of relevant property documents. On February 8, both sides appeared before revenue and municipal authorities for verification. Officials from Turkayangal Municipality confirmed that no legal permission had been granted for the construction of the farmhouse, shed, compound wall, or fencing in question.

Allegations of Fraudulent Land Deals

Representatives from the Plot Owners’ Association accused Samireddy Ball Reddy of manipulating land records to falsely assert ownership. They claimed he had initially sold plots to residents and only later acquired portions of the land himself, engaging in transactions that violated legal norms.

Demolition Orders and Execution

After reviewing the findings and consulting municipal authorities, the Hydraa Commissioner ordered the demolition of the unauthorized farmhouse, fencing, and road barriers erected by Samireddy Ball Reddy. The demolition was executed on Sunday under police supervision to ensure law and order.

This action aligns with Hydraa’s commitment to enforcing land regulations, removing illegal structures, and safeguarding the rights of legitimate property owners in the region.
