Hyderabad Metro Services Disrupted on Nagole-Raidurg Route

Hyderabad, January 28: Commuters faced major inconvenience on Tuesday morning as Hyderabad Metro Rail services on the Nagole-Raidurg route were disrupted due to a technical issue. The delay led to extended wait times, overcrowded platforms, and frustration among passengers.
According to reports, the issue was caused by a signaling system glitch, which resulted in delayed train operations. Many passengers took to social media to express their frustration, highlighting the overcrowding at key metro stations during peak hours.
Officials from Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) confirmed the problem and assured that it was promptly addressed. In an official statement on X (formerly Twitter), L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail stated:
“Dear Passengers, Earlier today, Hyderabad Metro Rail services encountered a temporary disruption caused by a signaling system technical glitch. We worked promptly to resolve the issue, and normal services have been restored. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused our passengers.”
Though services were restored, the disruption highlighted the need for better contingency measures to prevent such issues in the future. Commuters have urged authorities to improve communication and provide timely updates in case of technical failures.
