Hyderabad: In a tragic accident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday, a four-year-old boy lost his life after a speeding car crashed into a roadside thatched house in Parvathapur, Medipally.
The incident took place around 1 AM when a car traveling from Ghatkesar to Uppal lost control near Parvathapur. According to reports, the vehicle first collided with an electric pole before veering off the road and ramming into a thatched dwelling where the young child was sleeping.
Child Succumbs to Injuries
Following the accident, the severely injured boy was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital for medical treatment. However, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries later in the day.
Driver Flees the Scene
The driver of the speeding vehicle reportedly abandoned the car at the accident site and fled. Local residents alerted the police, who have since registered a case and launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the absconding driver.
The tragic incident has sparked concern among residents about reckless driving in the area. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against the culprit.
